What we measure
Your files are converted in your browser and never uploaded. To know whether Kunatta works and where it fails, we send anonymous usage stats.
What is sent
- That you opened a page, in which language and which site you came fromonly the domain and campaign tags: google.com, utm_source=reddit
- When you add files: how many, what kind and their total sizeas ranges: 2-5 files, 1-10 MB
- When the PDF is made: pages, size, how long it took and the settings you chosepage size, quality, protected yes or no
- If something failed, the kind of errorConversionFailed, never the message
- Browser and system without version, phone or computer, and the country
- How long you stayed on the pagein seconds, when you leave
- How fast the page loadedWeb Vitals
What never leaves
- Your files or what is in them
- File names or the PDF name
- Passwords or anything you type
- The full page address or where you came from
- Your IP, your screen or your time zone
Nothing stays on your device
No cookies and no stored identifier: every visit starts from scratch and no profile of you is built. The only thing Kunatta remembers in your browser is your size, quality and password yes or no settings.
How to turn it off
Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and nothing is sent. The tool works the same.
PostHog receives the stats, on servers in the US.
